Ability to work both individually in a self-directed role on smaller projects as well as working in a continuously collaborative environment on larger project teams under a Project Lead.
Ability to develop design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to express the design intent and communicate to project team and client.
Must be able to develop design and document for a variety of project types for each of the design phases. (restaurant, hotel, residential and other)
Collaborate externally with engineers, consultants, and regulatory agents as needed with oversight from Project Leads.
Assist in Construction Administration, attend OACs and site visits respond to RFIs and review submittals, substitutions and field conditions for conformance with design intent.
Understands the technical implications of design decisions and is able to contribute to the development and documentation of buildable, well thought-out details.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited program
1-5 years of related hotel or restaurant project experience
Proficient in Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, Enscape and BIM 360
Proficient in Bluebeam and Adobe Suite
Strong and versatile design knowledge and aesthetic
Robust interpersonal skills to convey design intent and direction
